About this Event
Calling all SOF Couples and Singles: Join us for a transformative event that will reinspire your spirit and redefine your path at Weekend at Rick’s Place - Camp Homefront: Where the War Within is Won.
Dates: September 28th & 29th
We are thrilled to invite and serve all individuals from the SOF community throughout this weekend. Throughout this immersive retreat, you can expect a heavy dose of self-discovery, forging new connections, and strengthening bonds (yes, even if you're flying solo!).
Throughout this experience, you'll have the chance to tap into your inner warrior alongside renowned experts from various fields. Brace yourself for inspiring sessions hosted by our dynamic power couple Tom and Jen Satterly, and an extraordinary lineup of special guests that will blow your mind!
Camp Homefront is at no cost to our warrior community. Get ready to camp out under the stars with tents available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. We will have meals provided throughout the whole weekend, a plethora of yard games, and exclusive evening activities all conveniently on-site.
You will be asked for proof of Military Affiliation at check-in for this program. Have your Military ID available. If you have any questions about what qualifies as proof of affiliation, please reach out to the team at Rick’s Place.
Each participant is required to register for this program, with one ticket needed per individual. The start and end times are prompt, so make sure you’re on time so you can soak up all the fun!

Camp Homefront and common misconceptions:
Do I have to share my story?
- No. In fact no one shares anything but our speakers. We have a short speaker Q+A after each session.
Do I have to camp?
- Nope. Locals can leave after speakers but we wouldn’t recommend it, the evening is a lot of fun.
Are there break out sessions or group sessions?
- Nope. Think of it like TedTalks outdoors followed by activities you can do as a couple or in a group. Up to you.
What’s provided?
- Breakfast both mornings, lunch both days, dinner Saturday night, coffee, speakers and all activities. Tent and air mattress for those camping.
Can my kids come?
- This is an adults only event (25 and older). Take the time to connect and relax.
