Part of the Scottish Mental Health Film and Art FestivalAbout this Event
As part of the Scottish Mental Health Film and Art Festival Kelvin Hall is offering a tour of the Glasgow Life Museums Stores which will focus on its mental health collection and review of its community display by Leverndale Hospital Recreational Therapy Unit’s nurses.
Please head to the National Library of Scotland's Moving Image Archive afterwards for a screening of 'Hidden Gifts: The Mystery of Angus McPhee', a creative documentary that explores the mystery of art and mental illness. It tells the story of Angus MacPhee, "the quiet big man" from South Uist, who wove clothes from grass.
