** 3:45pm meet for a 4pm start at Oaklands Wetlands and Reserve. ** Indy misses her walks with friends. We will walk weekly (here and other local walks) after school pick up time as the afternoon cools. They will be casual walks, no photos and social media posts, just friends who are not at work and can catch up.
*** IF THE CARPARK IS CLOSED - The car park has been blocked off last week, so we park on the road going into the wetlands and met on the grass there.
*** IF THE CAR PARK IS OPEN - Meet near the public toilet under the trees by the REAR CARPARK. Enter via the traffic lights on the road off of Oaklands Road to the east of the reserve (opposite Hendrie Street).
*** We will walk a loop through the Oaklands Wetland and the Sturt River linear bikeway. A little over a 3km walk.
*** There are options to shorten the walk for the less able four-leggeds.
*** Flat, easy walk, with a mixture of wooden boards and either gravel, bitumen and concrete paths.
