In the three years of Jesus earthly ministry he asked 307 questions, was asked 183 and only directly answered 3 of the questions he was asked. Jesus is super comfortable with questions. We asked the Veritas Community what questions they would like to explore and these are some of the questions that were submitted. During week 4 of ???? we will explore the first part of a two part question around various atonement theories. In the first part of our question we will look at Penal Substitutionary Atonement, Ransom Theory, and Moral Influence. The scriptures for the day will be Romans 3:21–26, Matthew 20:20-28 and 1 Peter 2:22.
The gathering will also include musical worship, prayer, and discussion groups on applying the message to our everyday lives.
