Show some love to one of Tāmaki Makaurau's local parks and work alongside other passionate volunteers caring for Heron Park. We'll spend some time learning about the pest plants in the area and the harmful impact they have on our native ngahere then dive into action clearing and cutting weeds. We'll finish off with some refreshments and a brief kōrero on how else you can get involved in community conservation in Waterview and around Auckland.
Gloves and other gear will be provided, but wear sturdy shoes and bring along extra water. All ages welcome, but kids must be supervised.
