Friends (Quaker) Meeting House, 727 Harrison Avenue, Claremont 91711. No fixed charge.
Guidelines: Sitting in a chair is perfectly acceptable. If you wish to sit on the floor, bring a mat, thick blanket, folded sleeping bag or zabuton for the uncarpeted floor, and your own cushions, firm pillows or meditation bench. To avoid distracting others, please minimize "in and out" traffic during sitting periods. That said, you may arrive—and leave—the zazenkai at any point. If you arrive during a sitting period, please enter quietly. If there is an open space in the circle, feel free to take it; otherwise, be seated on the perimeter and wait to the next walking meditation to join the circle.
