Experience a well-rounded approach to swimming in our Wednesday evening technique and fitness squad session.
This session alternates between a technique and drills focus for improving technique, and weeks dedicated to fitness and pacing development. This rhythm complements our Monday evening session at Highworth Recreation Centre and helps deliver our evening swimmers a well rounded training flow.
Key Features:
‍- Technique Emphasis: Some weeks are dedicated to refining your stroke through drills and specialized equipment.
- Fitness and Pacing: Alternate weeks focus on improving overall fitness and pacing, ensuring a holistic approach to your swim training.
Minimium Swim Criteria to join
- Swimmers must be able to swim at least 200m of non-stop and proficient front crawl in approximately 2:30 per 100m.
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Please note that this is not a learn-to-swim session; attendees must have a basic proficiency in front crawl.
