The Salsa & Bachata Experience at Revolucion de Cuba in Nottingham is an event for those who have never danced before or don't have a partner. You can show up and let the experienced instructors do what they do best. They have been teaching community dance for social enjoyment for over 20 years and know how to put you at ease quickly.The dance lessons are structured and delivered clearly, using inclusive teaching styles and language in a lively and enjoyable ambiance. Typically, everyone in the group is of a similar level, with varied social dynamics, which creates an accepting environment where a community of learners with a shared interest can become friends while improving their dancing skills.
The event takes place every Wednesday and offers a midweek music and dancing experience to help you through the week. You can learn new Latin dance moves every week with Todo Latino.
The sessions start at 6 pm with Cuban Salsa skills for complete beginners, followed by the Bachata Session at 7 pm for all levels of experience, and Cuban Salsa session at 8 pm for those with a competent level of experience in partnered dancing. After that, the floor is yours for non-stop Salsa, Bachata, and popular Latin tunes until 11:15 pm. Entry to the social is free of charge, but booking your sessions in advance is recommended to save valuable dancing minutes.
