Come play improv games! (This is not a performance to come watch) No audience! Easy parking - large parking lot to the left and the right of the Woodfords Club!
We will be UPSTAIRS - once you're inside, take the door that's ahead and slightly to your right, don't go straight into the large room on the first floor.
We have new people who come who've done a lot of improv and other new people who come who've never done any improv/acting before almost every week, so please pop on over if you're thinking about it! We do our best to be welcoming!
People generally don't confirm on here that they're coming, but generally we have 15ish people, and it can be anywhere from 7 to 25. Most people get there around 7:10, but feel free to get there at 7 if you want to chat with the host a little and settle in!
A rotating cast of people lead each session, so it's always something different and new! Generally it's pretty easy to participate less if you're feeling shy and to participate more if you're feeling it!
Afterwards, people can hang out at The Great Lost Bear (nearby restaurant/bar).
Pay-what you can - $5 Suggested!
Some examples of games we play - Someone comes up with a silly sounding name, and then someone else volunteers to be that character for thirty seconds, someone gives a location and two other people improvise a scene taking place at that location, Shark Tank - where a problem is thrown out by someone and then judges and contestants and inventions are improvised, a town hall - where we come up with a problem and then everyone plays a character in the town who has a take on the issue.
