About this Event
As an exception to our regular modern jazz programming, we offer something more in the tradition on Wednesday nights.
To begin the series we have dance maestro Sinclair Ang & His Rhythmakers setting the mood with their authentic swinging pulses, while the Jazz Inc Lindy Hoppers set the floor alight with their dance moves. Whether you're a dancer or not, this is a special treat for lovers of the genre.
And it's open to all! Not only dancers can participate in the social dancing, but also musicians are welcome to join in and help keep the room swinging.
For those new to the world of swing dance, there will be a special taster class from 9 to 9.15pm, to get the ball rolling, and warm up the dance floor.
Please note that the Jazz Inc Lindy Hoppers enforce the wearing of masks for dancers, just to keep us all safe.
The music and dance will run from 9pm until 11pm
