A Tribute to Earl KlughCelebrate the timeless artistry of Grammy-winning guitarist Earl Klugh in a special concert honoring his lasting influence on contemporary jazz. Alan Shikoh will present a retrospective of Klugh’s elegant solo guitar arrangements, showcasing the delicate touch and lyricism of this nylon string pioneer. Then we’ll travel back to 1987 and revisit Collaboration with George Benson, a chart-topping record of smooth sophistication, dazzling interplay, and unforgettable grooves. For this performance, Alan will be joined by fellow guitarist Shawn Perkinson and an elite rhythm section featuring David Schwab, Matt Turnure, and Alan Wyatt. Join us this Wednesday night for a heartfelt celebration of one of jazz guitar’s most beloved voices.

Since 2015, Barking Legs Theater has grown our weekly jazz program and will continue to do so with memberships and more, coming soon! Aside from the occasional touring act, we strive to support local artists and foster the talent within Chattanooga and surrounding areas.
