What you should not bring is significant insulation. With a start over 70F and temps likely above 65 at the end, bringing a jacket or (worse) a fleace just means getting sweaty. It is rather remarkable how much opressive heat we haven't had this summer but that doen't mean you should bundle up. If you are fully warm at the start, you ARE overdressed or you are more sensetive to heat than I am.
No moon. Watch for critters.
As always, we will have eleven miles of rolling hills, smooth pavement fun pepes. What better way to spend a Wednesday night?
Bring skates, bike, scooter, or any other sort of human-powered conveyance to the Museum Way parking lot between Palm Drive and the Canter Art Museum by 7:30pm. Lace-up. At 7:50pm (sort of) we launch into twilight.
Power up the Cedro Way "Summit" hill. Take in the views from the top. Wander back down before the "don't miss" hard left.
Skate up Page Mill. Down a little and then up some more below before pondering Hanover. This is classically a super fun fast descent but the street department has added a wrinkle. Our regulars have figured out how to bomb it safely, but if this is your first time or first time back, you may want to take it slow until you have it sorted.
After cruising back to the campus proper, wind your way up 5 floors of the garage and down 6. With the oval back in sight, burn all you have left in a race around the fountain before cruising back to the parking lot. Pack up to go home, exhausted but happy that you made it.
It doesn't get better than this!
For the detail nerds:
We meet just off Palm Drive at the Museum Way parking lot between Palm Drive and the Cantor Art Museum.
There is no valid street address but google maps will get you there
https://goo.gl/maps/osfdb
And so will the ICBM coordinates: 37°25'57.2"N 122°10'08.8"W
Gather on the corner nearest the Oval and Palm Drive. X marks the spot on the Google Map.
See the link below for a general idea of the roads we do.

This is what we call the "dark side". It is the route we do most often. The important time is the elapsed time (near the bottom) 1h 40 minutes in this case.
Meet at 7:30pm, move out at 7:50pm.
