To secure a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out on the registration form and a confirmation email is received.
Join the Wednesday Birders and Golden Eagle Audubon Society for a walk on the Kingfisher Trail, along the shore of Lake Lowell's Deer Flat Wildlife Refuge in Nampa. The pace will be slow to allow everyone to enjoy the birds and observe any interesting behavior. We'll be on the lookout for a variety of late spring birds including finches, woodpeckers, swallows, blackbirds, gulls, and more! Be prepared to walk about 2 miles along packed dirt trails.

Birding Skill Level: All experience levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 8:00 am - 11:00 am
The parking lot at Gott's Point. (Click on "Meeting Place" to get directions from your location.)
What to Bring: Layers for weather, sun protection, bug spray, comfortable shoes, binoculars, water, and snacks as needed. No dogs please.
Restroom Availability: There are no restrooms in the parking area, however there is a nearby Chevron on Middleton Road north of Greenhurst Road.
Inclement Weather: If there is an unhealthy AQI or steady rain forecast, the trip will be cancelled. If precipitation is light or intermittent, we will proceed as scheduled.
