About this Event
To secure a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out on the registration form and a confirmation email is received.
Join us as we go for a scenic bird walk around Eagle Island State Park, a 545-acre park west of Boise. We will be walking on flat terrain and developed pathways, up to a 2 mile loop depending on the trip pace. A variety of winter birds can be seen here including ducks, herons, kingfishers, and hawks.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Meet in the main lot near the visitor center. Please note the State Street Entrance is closed for construction. Enter from Linder Road. The road into the park from Linder is S Trout Rd.
Please note: Each vehicle has a $7 entry fee if you do not have an Idaho State Parks Passport.
What to bring: Bring your binoculars, layers for weather, closed-toe shoes and some water. No dogs please.
Restroom availability: Indoor restrooms are available at the Visitor's Center.
