Registration is required to attend this event as space is limited. Please make sure ALL fields in the registration form are completed and that a confirmation email is received.
Join Golden Eagle Audubon for a walk along a scenic portion of the Boise Greenbelt in Garden City. We will meet at a residential area near the West Greenbelt Bridge in Garden City, and from there we'll walk west past Riverside Pond on the Greenbelt path. The route will be flat and paved, and is around 2 miles on an out-and back walk. We'll be on the lookout for mergansers, goldeneyes, wood ducks and other waterfowl on the river and local ponds, and songbirds like chickadees, kinglets, nuthatches, and finches in the trees and any feeders.

Accessibility: This event is appropriate for those with limited mobility and/or visual impairment.
Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available to borrow if needed.
Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 8:30am - 10:30am. Check-in is at 8:20am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time.
: We will meet at the corner of W Sultana Dr and N Duxbury Pier Pl. From State Street, turn South on N Ulmer Ln, then right on W Sultana Dr. (Please click on "Meeting Place" for exact directions, the "Location" depicted above is an approximation.)
Parking is streetside in a neighborhood - please be courteous of the local residents.
What to Bring: Bring layers for weather, sun protection, closed-toe shoes, binoculars, a scope if you have one, and water. No dogs please.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms will not be available.
Inclement Weather: If there is an unhealthy AQI or steady rain forecast, the trip will be cancelled.
