Nestled in the redwoods, Chez Serendip is opening its gates for a relaxed, inspiring evening with the local event community. As a regenerative cultural sanctuary and hybrid venue, we host private events and creative productions on our for-profit side while our nonprofit foundation supports artist residencies and public-benefit programming.
This evening is more than a mixer—it’s a chance to:

Chez Serendip is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind cultural sanctuary set on a sprawling six-acre farmstead in Scotts Valley, anchored by a 1928 Craftsman home with timeless character.
Surrounded by towering redwoods and rolling meadows, the property offers a serene and private escape—yet remains easily accessible from Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. Designed to host a wide range of gatherings, it balances intimacy with expansiveness.
Event spaces include gardens, meadows, barns, and studios. A highlight is the newly installed 36-foot geodesic dome for movement, wellness, and creative expression. Together with the historic carriage house, outdoor grounds, and intimate gathering rooms, Chez Serendip provides a versatile canvas for weddings, retreats, performances, residencies, and cultural events.
