About this Event
Van Gogh’s unique style was a mix of chaos and genius—which made his art singular in history.
We will study his personal story and history of mental troubles, but also his wonderful color sense and unique brushstrokes.
Learn how to make colors sing by using value and temperature. Practice making brushstrokes and palette knife marks like Van Gogh. His composition was a really important factor in his compelling paintings so we will be covering that as well.
Students will walk away with 2-4 finished paintings.
