“Webb flat out rocks! They serve up potent Southern comfort.” — Rolling StoneWebb Wilder – Roots Rock Royalty (Nashville, TN)
Inducted into the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame
Webb Wilder was Americana before the genre had a name—true Roots Rock Royalty with a career spanning nearly four decades. His albums run the gamut from early rock ’n’ roll to gritty classic rock, Outlaw Country, straight-up blues, Brit Rock, rockabilly, Southern rock, and everything in between. Along the way he’s earned major-label releases, MTV airplay, cult-classic film stardom, a long run as one of XM Radio’s first national DJs, and a global fanbase built from countless miles on the road delivering his signature “Uneasy Listening” sound.
His 13th album, Hillbilly Speedball, reunites him with world-renowned guitarist and longtime collaborator David Grissom, who also penned the title track. The record features appearances from Vince Gill (“the world’s most down-to-earth superstar,” per Wilder), legendary Wrecking Crew guitarist Richard Bennett, Fats Kaplin (ex-Jack White), and other notable guests—further cementing Wilder’s place as one of American music’s most versatile and compelling voices.
