About this Event
Join us for a thoughtful and interactive session on December 3rd at the Fayetteville Public Library designed to strengthen your communication and conflict management skills—just in time for the holiday season. Through reflection, storytelling, and guided dialogue, we’ll explore how to approach tough conversations with empathy, curiosity, and care. Together, we’ll strengthen our ability to listen, speak, and connect across differences in ways that nurture peace and belonging.
This training is designed for anyone looking to enhance their communication and conflict resolution skills, whether in a workplace, team setting, or personal relationships. Join us for an engaging and interactive session that will help you become a better listener and communicator!
*This training is hosted by Weaving NWA. We’re here to connect and uplift, cultivate relationships, share inspiring stories, and encourage more people to weave community wherever they live.
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Identify their personal conflict management style and understand when and how to apply it effectively.
- Strengthen self-awareness and emotional regulation in moments of tension or disagreement.
- Practice strategies for engaging in healthy, respectful dialogue—especially during difficult and tense moments.
- Leave with practical approaches to create harmony, understanding, and joy in gatherings and community interactions.
The training is free and will be located in the Walker Community Room. Lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know! The training will be facilitated by April Kennedy (NWA Local Liason) and Shaden Dowiatt (Sr. Associate of Community Engagement). Email [email protected] with any questions!
