Event Details:
- When: Thursdays, 6:30 - 8 PM PST. Drop-in as you please during the time window.
- Where: The studio is located in a beautiful heritage building in downtown Vancouver (3 steps at the entrance, unfortunately not wheelchair accessible)
- Tickets: Available until 1 hour before the event.

About the Open Studio: Immerse yourself in the tranquil and rewarding world of weaving. This is more than just a gathering—it's a space where you can explore the meditative art of weaving in a relaxed, informal setting designed for self-care and creativity.
What You Can Expect:
- Explore: Experiment with a variety of yarns and fibers.
- Create: Learn new weaving techniques and craft beautiful pieces to take home.
- Connect: Join a supportive community that values both creativity and self-care.
No Experience Needed: Whether you’re a seasoned weaver or a complete novice, you’re welcome here! This is a space to learn at your own pace, with no formal instruction—just the joy of creative exploration. If you're an experienced weaver, feel free to bring your own loom and supplies for personal projects!
Your Investment:
- Fee: $10 - $20 (Recommended: $15). Choose what feels right for you—paying a higher fee helps us keep the event accessible for others and ensures we can provide quality materials.
- Take-Home Loom & Needle: $10 (payable by cash, e-transfer or Eventbrite add-on).
Policies:
- Age: 18+ (All genders welcome)
- Storage: Leave your project on the loom and continue during another meeting. Weaving is slow and it is not common to finish a project in one session. Projects are stored for up to 6 weeks.
- Cancellation: Notify Elspeth within 24 HOURS for a refund. Please inform us if you can no longer attend so we can open your spot to someone else.
