Ella Ion:
Emerging from Kaurna Land (Adelaide, Australia), fragmented-folk musician Ella Ion crafts music that cuts deep to the core. Drawing on influences of indie-rock, folk and country, her eloquent lyricism and masterful musical control delivers a cacophony of raw emotion, anchored by grit and heart. Ion has already amassed a loyal following across Australia, having played at a plethora of prolific venues, events and shows. However, the reach of her sonic capabilities stretches beyond country borders, with listeners streaming her music across the UK, US, Europe and more.
Chelsea Lee:
Chelsea Lee is an accomplished vocalist and composer in the Adelaide music scene, whose writing style brings together the worlds of jazz, alternative rock, and singer-songwriter genres. Following her selection for Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead (USA) in 2015, vocalist and composer Chelsea Lee has earned acclaim in the Adelaide jazz scene, and has composed and released three albums of original jazz music, one of which won the People’s Choice category at the 2021 South Australian Music Awards.In 2024, she released a highly experimental, score-focused album with her project Djawbreaker, funded by one of Adelaide’s best music venues, The Grace Emily Hotel. As a solo artist, Chelsea performs original material which experiments with effects and themes of heartbreak, through the blending of jazz and alternative genres.
Anya Anastasia:
Anya Anastasia is a South Australian composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist living and creating on Peramangk Country in the Adelaide Hills. Her music is a powerful blend of experimental folk and post-rock steeped in global music influences. Anya's lyrics ask questions about our society, conspiring to stir dissent and environmental action. Amidst the grind of modern industrial life, her songs transcribe wonders of the natural world.Her debut EP ‘Dissenter’ was released in April 2022 coming in at #14 in the Three D Radio Top 101 most played releases in 2023. The self-produced music video to accompany debut single 'Losing Wild' was a finalist in the 2023 Environmental Music Prize.
Quartz Pistol:
Quartz Pistol is a musician and artist based in Tarndanya South Australia. A shy producer but intrepid performer Quartz Pistol makes intuitive, low-fi pop music, costumes and objects informed by ecology and the failure of capitalism in the Anthropocene.
