The Wearable Art workshop is a great way to cultivate your inner artisan by using up those bits of fabric (and trims) you haven’t known what to do with and have saved forever… Bring them to the workshop and learn a few techniques with which to creatively form something artistic to wear! Learn a few stitches. Add a bit of trim for a contrast or simply layer on thread with hand sewing.
The cost of the workshop includes instructions you can take home with you. Intermediate/advanced garment-making experience is required for this workshop.
Attendees must bring their fabric/remnants, pins, and a good fabric scissor. If you have one, a portable dress form (while this is not necessary, it is helpful). I will have some remnants on hand to supplement an attendee’s stash, at an extra cost, payable at the workshop ($5-$10).
