About this Event
A scenario: You're out and about by yourself. Someone approaches you, puts a gun in your face, and tells you to empty your pockets. What do you do?
Let's try another: Some guy runs up and starts punching you in the belly, but it's really confusing because he's hitting you super weak. Do you realize you're being repeatedly stabbed? And what do you do about it?
One more: the game doesn't go the way they wanted, and now they're swinging a bat at you. How do you make sure to stay safe?
Keyboard warriors might say "Situational awareness! MY head is ALWAYS on a swivel!" or "That's why I carry my gun!" And, make no mistake, those are fantastic things to do.
But it's the real world and folks who actually know how to fight know that things don't always go perfectly. Sometimes things get mixed up.
That's why you need a back-up plan. That's why you need to know how to handle yourself if someone comes at you with a knife, gun, or stick.
Our curriculum for ages 18+ gives you the best possible ways to overcome the advantages a weapon gives the bad guy, to make sure you can go home to the people you care about.
Wear your regular clothes, bring a water bottle, and leave your self-defense tools at home or locked in your car. Non-functional training weapons will be provided.
