This tour celebrates the women who challenged the social, cultural, and political norms of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
About this Event

In celebration of the bold women who challenged the social, cultural, and political norms of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, this trolley tour will spotlight Green-Wood's pioneering women and their inspiring stories. You’ll be captivated by Grace Nail Johnson, a civil rights activist and key figure in the Harlem Renaissance; Louisine Havemeyer, a socialite and philanthropist who was arrested for attempting to burn an effigy of Woodrow Wilson; Elizabeth Gloucester, a successful entrepreneur whose fortune funded John Brown’s raid on Harpers Ferry; and many more trailblazing women whose legacies continue to inspire.

This trolley tour is offered at a discounted rate to make Green-Wood's rich history more accessible to the public.

Please note that if only 1 ticket shows as available during the purchase process that is the last ticket available.
