This is workshop #3 of our financial foundation series. The workshops will be delivered by community leaders, organizers and educators with experience educating and empowering communities all across North America.

About the presenters:
Yamila Franco, financial educator
Yamila focuses on advancing equitable access to financial education and entrepreneurship. With a background in business and finances, Yamila has built two startups and currently works with her communities as a financial educator and mentor entrepreneur in various programs across Canada & the US.
It’s said that it only takes one person to change the world. We believe that statement isn’t too far from the truth. Imagine what one can do when empowered with a proper financial education, we could break cycles of generational poverty, live a debt-free life, support our family members in accessing a better education and more. Most importantly, we can prepare to care for what matters most - time with our families.
