Following the sell-out success of last year’s production of High School Musical, we are very proud to be performing the worldwide smash hit ‘We Will Rock You’ to BIS. ‘We Will Rock You’ is a musical based on the songs of British rock band Queen. It tells the story of a group of Bohemians who struggle to restore the free exchange of thought and live music, in a distant future where everything is controlled by the Globalsoft Corporation.Our production features over 70 students from Year 5 to Year 8 who will perform numbers including ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘Killer Queen’ and ‘I Want It All’, supported by some senior students in various roles.
In an age where algorithms predict our every preference, We Will Rock You is a musical for our time: a fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthem to individuality.
