The Zeeland Historical Society and the Holland Museum are proud to announce We the People, a collaborative exhibition and oral history project exploring themes of identity, belonging, and what it means to be an American in West Michigan during the nation’s 250th anniversary, made possible by America250MI.To mark the opening of We the People, the Zeeland Historical Society and the Holland Museum will host a dedication and free public open house on Monday, February 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The celebration will take place at both exhibit locations, welcoming community members, families, and visitors to explore the new exhibits at no cost. The open house offers an opportunity to experience We the People during America’s 250th anniversary year and to celebrate the stories, voices, and shared histories that shape West Michigan.
