The theme for International Women's Day (IWD) in 2025 is “Accelerate Action”. The theme's goal is to speed up progress towards gender equality worldwide.
Why is IWD celebrated?
IWD is celebrated on March 8th each year. It's a day to recognize women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. It's also a day to call for action to accelerate women's equality.
🙌🏻 We are excited to be bringing you our first ever International Women’s Day to the Gold Coast, as our Melbourne sisters celebrate our 6th annual much loved We Rise event, and we know this event is going to be next level! 🥰
