About this Event
We'll be hiking the Chestnut Hill trail at the Judge Morris Estate within Newark, DE. This is a easy un-paved hike with beautiful views throughout. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!
Once we reach the open Meadow, we'll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a little gratitude journaling!

Parking: Large Parking lot with state park fees ($4 for in-state tags, $8 for out of state tags) (we encourage carpooling)
Difficulty level/Distance: Easy/3.5miles
Restroom Facilities: There is a bathroom on site
What you will need for this hike:
- Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
- Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers
- Comfortable moisture wicking clothing - workout clothes work just fine!
- A daypack/backpack to carry all your items
- A towel to sit on if you're uncomfortable sitting on the ground
- Your journal and a pen

This event is for women identified folks 18 and older only.
