We Go Together Sugar Cookie Decorating Class at Throne Brewing

Want to learn how to decorate sugar cookies without the stress of baking at home? Dessert Valley Sweets has you covered! In this 1.5-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of royal icing, practice piping, and decorate your very own 6-cookie Valentines Day set.

We’ll cover techniques like outlining, flooding, and fun decorating tricks while you sip your included drink. You’ll leave with a decorated box of cookies, confidence to keep practicing, and some sweet memories.

You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, credits, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.

This class is good for ages 10 and over, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself!

These classes are based in Glendale and cater to the beginner cookier or people just looking to have fun learning a new skill. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-or-guys-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - we have a seat for you.

Cancelation / Refund / Sick Policy

Showing Symptoms Before 3 Days Out:

If you’re sick prior to the 3-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund! And might we say thank you for quarantining. To request a refund you'll go through Eventbrite.

Showing Symptoms After 3-Days Out:

For any sickness symptoms prior to your class’s start time but after the 3-day refund policy, please email us before your class’s start time, and we’ll give you a credit for the next class!

You Don't Show Up or Email Prior To Class:

If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, I won’t be able to offer you a refund or a credit even if you're sick. So please reach out before class if you’re feeling sick!

DIY / Add-On Kits

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and I’ll email you the class PowerPoint so you can follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.

Please consider your allergies before registering.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Classes with attendance below 6 people will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 3 before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.
