We Go On, OswegoA Theatrical Song Cycle in dedication to women of Fort Ontario Refugee Shelter. This unique vocal work features powerful voices and seldom seen narratives that incite critical thinking, and explores a vast array of interdisciplinary connections.
This world premiere is presented in collaboration with Finger Lakes Opera. This project is supported by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts, Opera Guild of Rochester, Rochester Area Community Foundation. Special thanks also to WXXI, JCC, Temple Emanu-el, and Roc Lyric Opera.
Donations will be accepted to support voice area activities at the Nazareth University School of Music.
As a preview, Dr. Hannigan will present selections from this new work at the JCC Artists and Innovators Festival on November 20 at 4:00 PM in the Center Stage Theatre. This event is free and open to the public.
