As the ‘Circle of Life’ brings us spring school holidays, we present a singing workshop of our most loved ‘Lion King’ songs! Presented by Andrea Frances Manners, we’ll take a vocal journey to Africa & roar out our tunes with ‘hakuna matata/no worries!’
In this once only session, singers will participate in voice/body warm ups, experiment with basic singing techniques such as pitch, timing, tone and articulation, & then use these skills to sing x2 Lion King classics. As always, there will be a performance of the songs for parents/guardians at the end of the session.
Andrea Frances Manners has been teaching singing at her home studio and in Margaret River schools for 13 years after training at WAAPA and under Fisenden Music in Perth. She is also a member of the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) & attends ANCA (National Choral Assoc.) professional development. Andrea delights in working with young creatives who love to sing and perform by guiding them in healthy vocal techniques such as breathing, alignment, pitching, articulation and tone, along with how to harmonise and perform with confidence and joy!
