About this Event
Join WE Bike NYC for a longer ride up the 9W route! WE will be meeting at the entrance to the George Washington Bridge North Walk (at Cabrini Blvd. and 180th St., across from Break Away Cafe), then biking up the NJ 9W route to State Line Lookout for some amazing views, snacks, and socialization before returning along the same route to Manhattan. The total ride distance is about 24 miles, mostly using the road shoulder. You should be comfortable riding this distance with traffic and climbing hills. Road bikes/spandex/clipping in are not required but you will need a well-maintained bike with some gears. This will be a relaxed paced introduction to 9W.
Please bring plenty of water, some cash/card for snacks, a spare tube, and your helmet (helmets are required).
