About this Event

Welcome to WE Bike NYC for Earth Day with YPT-NYC: Open Streets, Brass Bands and Tulips! It's a celebration of Earth Day like no other! Click on to fill out WE Bike NYC's Waiver Form!

WE will meet at the West Side Community Garden on the Upper West Side, then we’ll make our way down the protected bike lanes on Columbus Ave. and Broadway, and end at Union Square where we'll enjoy a brass band concert organized by HONK!

Total ride distance is about 4 miles. Please bring water and your helmet. (Helmets are required.)

FYI April 20 is NYC DOT’s Car-Free Earth Day so there will be additional sections of car-free open streets and activations along Broadway.

This bike is Citi Bike friendly! If you don't have your own bike or your own Citi Bike membership we can provide a limited number of free Citi Bikes to use for the ride. Email [email protected] if you need a bike.
