(Water End Bedfordshire’s Inspiring Gudgeon) club.
We are are officially kicking off our junior Angling club at Water End fisheries on Saturday 6th September 10:00-14:00
Please message the Water End Facebook page with any questions and to let us know who is coming ; equally leave us your number and we will give you a call back to answer any other questions.
The cost will be £15 per session this will include bait and a piece of tackle based around what we are working on that week to help build up your tackle box.
We offer anyone joining us the chance to begin a journey that can last a lifetime

From a beginner drowning your 1st maggot , to those wanting to improve and build on their
experiences fishing
We have lots of fun and exciting opportunities for the Junior Anglers!
The mission is to get more juniors into the sport and the great outdoors
Our aim is show young anglers the correct choice and use of fishing tackle, bait selection and safe behaviour in a potentially dangerous environment
Most of this is covered by understanding the essential angling rules of the Club and fishery, without making that a boring reading exercise
Unfortunately at the moment this is only for ages 10-18, All under 17’s must have a responsible adult (tea and coffee for them will be provided) with them on site
Sessions are conducted outdoors ‘on the bank’ meaning all participants need to turn up with suitable and safe clothing, appropriate for the weather of the day, Don’t forget your sun cream.
We plan the sessions to be small, topical and concise, making them enjoyable fun for all participants and giving maximum opportunity to develop and learn from one another’s practical experiences
The key objective is to get everyone to be confident and capable in there fishing.
The level of coaching will vary dependant on those attending
This will include the safety of both the angler and the fish, appreciating the environment and basic tactics
Most important of all, you will all have fun at these sessions
