About this Event
We Believe in Portland Cleanup powered by AdoptOneBlock
Join us for a couple of hours of community service and connection at our Spring Cleanup Event! Kicking off at Providence Park, teams will spend one hour cleaning up assigned zones in downtown Portland to make our city shine. Afterward, gather at Midtown Beer Garden for great food, conversation, and the chance to celebrate our collective impact while supporting local businesses.
Bring your coworkers, friends, or family, put on your work gloves, and help us show some love for Portland. Together, we can make a positive difference for our community and the environment. See you there!
If you're a returning individual or Team and you still have your supplies from a previous We Believe in Portland event, please bring them!
**NEED CLEANUP SUPPLIES?**
Complete the Supply Order Form to guarantee that you and your team have all of the needed supplies on the cleanup day! (There will be very limited extras available at the event)

Launched in the fall of 2022, We Believe in Portland is an initiative co-founded by Thesis and AdoptOneBlock. What began as Litter League at Thesis, under the leadership of Ryan Buchanan and Carling Leon, has evolved into a thriving community effort that has engaged over 170 companies and approximately 2,000 participants annually through its Spring and Fall cleanup events. The original purpose of Litter League was simple yet impactful: dedicate two hours on a Friday to cleaning up litter in a few city blocks, followed by supporting local restaurants by gathering for lunch.
Today, We Believe in Portland builds on that foundation by uniting purpose-driven leaders, businesses, and individuals to make a tangible difference in the community. The initiative is powered by AdoptOneBlock, which collaborates with a committee of staff and volunteers to plan and organize the events, manage logistics, and provide participants with the necessary cleanup supplies.
We rely on sponsorships to make this important work possible and to continue delivering meaningful impact in our community. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Jennifer Bosze, Director of Operations at AdoptOneBlock, at [email protected].
