In collaboration with the charity Long Covid Kids & friends (Registered in England & Wales 1196170, and in Scotland SC052424), Rosie has curated an exhibition of new work that conveys the experience of living with, and having been disabled by, Covid-induced Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (Long Covid ME).
Featuring a range of paintings, mixed media pieces and film, the exhibition tells the story of young people living with the impact of delibitating post-viral illness. Apart from Rosie's own original pieces, it also features submissions from other young people from around the world, including work done as part of a research project with University of Sussex and Brighton Medical School.
Some of these young people have lost 5 years of their childhood to post-Covid disease. We Are Still Here is a cry to the world to take action to help them.
