Every week, we open a space to listen, to move, and to question.
In these classes, we explore Contact Improvisation as a practice of inquiry, awareness, and solidarity.
The body becomes a community — a web of inner and outer relations, a place where stories live and transform movement.
We will dive into our tissues, our breath, our skeletal system — approaching Material for the Spine (Steve Paxton) as a living source — to move with precision, imagination, and presence.
Expect to roll, fall, fly, jump, meet the floor, meet each other.
To be moved and to move — in the unknown of each now.
Together we’ll study the roots of the practice, returning again and again to the question:
How do we choose to stay in a dance that never ends, since 1972?
We’ll dance with gravity, with support, with the mystery of being alive on this Earth.
Each session is a space of exchange, of softness, of courage —
a place to practice CI as sensation, revolution, choice.
