Our August lineup features an extraordinary selection of artists guaranteed to ignite the dance floor: SPECIAL GUEST: DJ JAUCHE (Flanuerecordings, Berlin) An honor to welcome back vinyl purist and good friend Oliver Marquardt AKA DJ Jauche (Flanuerecordings), a prominent pioneer figure in Berlin's vibrant music scene since the mid 90’s, is renowned for his eclectic style and deep understanding of house and techno music. With numerous releases & remixes on his own quality vinyl imprint Flaneurecordings and a host of world renowned labels under various alias' such as Robin Masters Orchestra, Machomovers, Jack Flash, & Rockford Inc. he has garnered a global following, captivating audiences with his seamless blends and infectious energy. His deep grooves and innovative sets are an absolute testament to his decades of experience and dedication to the craft.
SUPPORTED BY: ABEL (Atjazz Record Company) We welcome the North East’s rising Dj/Producer Abel representing the prestigious Atjazz Record Company, still hot off the release of his recent album 'Cosmic Law', is celebrated for his soulful productions and dynamic DJ sets. His music effortlessly fuses deep house with elements of jazz, soul & afro beats, creating a unique soundscape that resonates with listeners. Abel’s ability to connect with the crowd through his performances has made him a standout artist and a ‘One to watch’ in the house music scene, Abel real name Steve Butler is no stranger to the UK & European house music scene, having played alongside a multitude of key house music figures along the journey (Little Louie Vega, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, MAW, Kerri Chandler, Phil Asher, Timmy Regisford, Barbara Tucker and Byron Stingily were just some). As a regular spinner at The Southport Weekender & Suncebeat festival in Croatia, theres a lot cooking for Abel right now, watch this space!
SUMSUCH (Colour and Pitch/5 Magazine) Great to welcome back our good friend and Dj/Producer Sumsuch, the creative force behind the highly respected label Colour and Pitch, known for his sophisticated productions and emotive DJ sets. His tracks often explore the deeper, melodic side of house music, characterized by lush textures and intricate rhythms. Sumsuch’s passion for music shines through in every performance, making him a firm favorite among the worlds deep house aficionados. A particular Sumsuch highlight includes a transatlantic collaboration Mega Jawns (with Philadelphia soul man Will Brock) which earned a deal with legendary label BBE Music in 2014 for debut album ‘Ten Letters From Home’. Two albums and three compilations followed, and Sumsuch represented BBE at many events across Europe, impressive!!!!! On top of all this, Sumsuch finds time to work as a senior contributing editor for 5 Magazine Chicago, North America’s only dedicated House music publication.
RORY COCHRANE (Deep Site Recordings) As the head of Deep Site Recordings, Rory Cochrane has become a respected name in the underground house music community. His Digital & vinyl label has become laced with quality deep house releases over the years, and Rory’s own productions are no exception. His sets are a journey through deep, atmospheric sounds, crafted to create a profound and immersive experience on the dance floor which have led him to play internationally at many well respected venues across the globe such as Puro Beach Barcelona, D-Edge, Sao Paulo, Vagalume Beach Club, Tulum, W Hotel in London where you can catch Rory regularly at the home of Bloop London Radio with his monthly Deep Site Sessions Radio Show.
