We All R.I.S.E. by Mary Murphy is an inspiring audiobook of spoken word poetry that chronicles her journey from surviving trauma to thriving in life.
An experienced spoken word poetry writer and performer for 7 years, Mary AKA Pure Mary has also run poetry workshops for young people and adults in an accessible and engaging workshop, # BringIt
In her first audiobook, Mary uses her powerful spoken word poetry as a vehicle to share her personal experiences and the transformative steps she took to overcome adversity and move from Survivor to Uber Thriver.
The book emphasises resilience, empowerment, and the importance of community support. Through her story, Mary aims to motivate listeners to find their inner strength and rise above challenges.
The launch event will include a live performance by Mary of some of the poems included in the audiobook. There will be refreshments available all evening.
This is a ticketed event, all proceeds from the launch event and audiobook sales will be donated to R.I.S.E., a vital organisation helping survivors of domestic abuse and trauma. Every purchase makes a difference: £20 funds a life-saving call to the RISE Helpline, and £50 provides a counselling session for a child in need.
This promises to be a powerful and inspiring event.
