Weeds, wildflowers, whatever you call them, our urban spaces are full of interesting plants just waiting to be found. Join us for a relaxed and friendly walk as we take a closer look at the successful, tenacious and in some cases, scarce plants to be found across Gosforth's Wild Web.
Perfect for beginners, this new series of walks with botanist, James Common, will explore the fascinating plants with which we share our city. Together, we'll learn to recognise common and familiar species while appreciating the beauty of the hardy plants that bloom in our city's green and grey spaces.
Questions (and identification queries) are welcome at any time by emailing [email protected].
