The Citizen's Academy is a 10-week program, combing classroom and hands-on instruction about the WCSO. Our goal is to create a core of responsible, well-informed citizens who have the potential to influence public opinion by sharing their positive insights of law enforcement operations after experiencing what it's like to be "Behind the Badge" The Academy will be held at the Public Safety Building every Thursday, from 6 to 8 pm beginning September 18, 2025. Participants will have the opportunity to gain insight into how each division operates through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations.
