Join us for the first WCAS Chapter hike of the 2025-2026 season at Turtle Lake (Lake Renwick Preserve) in Plainfield. We will meet in the parking lot of the Plainfield Township Office building (22525 W Lockport St, Plainfield, IL 60544) at 8am. This should be at the height of migration so target birds will be warblers and other song birds moving through. Shorebirds, terns and gulls, plus various raptors such as Peregrine Falcons are all possible as well. This trail is a natural/dirt surface and may be muddy if there is rain.
