About this Event
The LTHT Older People's (Elderly) Medicine consultant body recognises that it can be difficult for doctors working in busy, large departments and rotational posts to get personalised feedback and complete workplace-based assessments (WBPAs). It is important for feedback to be specific, contemporaneous and actionable for it to be meaningful and to help with your practice.
As such, we are running some "clinics" that non-consultant grade doctors can book into to discuss and complete WBPAs with a consultant providing feedback.
Please book one slot to discuss a CBD (or if wishing to discuss an ACAT, please book two slots TOGETHER) and book a maximum of two slots per doctor so that as many doctors as possible have the opportunity to take part. If you need to cancel a slot, please do so as soon as possible and email and Celina Handalage (via NHSmail) to inform of the cancellation.
Please bring along the NHS/PAS number(s) of the patient(s) you wish to discuss- these should be cases where you have had significant involvement i.e. have clerked or reviewed the patient yourself rather than just giving advice for. They should also be cases which have not been used for previous WBPAs
Please note this is for CBDs and ACATs ONLY, not for OPCATs (which should be done within a clinic setting for feedback). If you have previously attended any WBPA clinic, please do not book on to allow other colleagues to have the opportunity to attend instead."
