About this Event

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

Ways of Drawing is a series of workshops presented by Isobel Neviazsky. The workshops aim to be informal, engaging and an encouraging space to develop your artistic practice in, completely open to anyone of any artistic ability.

The purpose of the workshop isn’t to guide into one way of making, but to help open up new and exciting ways for you to find your own creative process.

This workshop will be based around the challenge of depicting memories and invented scenes. There will be a focus on oil pastels. Feel free to bring your own tools to draw with, there will be limited communal supplies.

Image description: A black and white drawing, drawn with pen and ink. It is a self-portrait, the face is detailed with hatching and the surrounding objects in the room are drawn in simpler lines. There are some messy splashes of ink and smudges. Overlaid on the drawing is the handwritten text "Ways of Drawing With Isobel Neviazsky
