May 29: Jack and Davis Reid. This concerts caps off a fun day in Waynesboro! Tour of the Town in Waynesboro is happening this day as well!! Jack and Davis Reid are both Staunton, Virginia born and raised! They both love to play music and make people laugh. Entertainers at heart…. and the Sons of Wilson Fairchild and the Grandsons of the Statler Brothers!
June 26: Randy Black Trio. Randy Pat and Scott are a group of very close friends who have been performing together for over 25 years! They bring a wide variety of styles into their eclectic mix of Old Rock, Blues, Country and even a few originals! Their vocal harmonies and tight sound, that only comes from years of performing together are sure to keep your heads bopping' and your toes tappin'.
July 31: Valerie McQueen, Singer-Songwriter from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Unhurried and authentic, singer-songwriter Valerie McQueen uses her voice as an instrument to tell life’s stories. A little bit folk, sometimes country, Valerie chronicles a life shaped by seasons through melody and rhythm, sharing experiences that we can all relate to. Influenced by strong female voices like Gillian Welch and Allison Krauss, Valerie marries her powerful voice, acoustic guitar and purposeful lyrics to create songs that embody the stories she’s telling.
August 28: Sundried Opossum. Originally formed in 1992, SDO performs their brand of original guitar driven rock-n-roll. With three studio records and over 1,000 live shows under their belt, SDO is a seasoned music machine. ** Main Street will be closed in front of the Wayne Theatre for the concerts. There will be some chairs available for use, but you may want to bring a lawn chair, if you have one. There will be concessions and restrooms available at the Wayne Theatre during the concert. We will have additional food trucks and beer outside the theatre as well! **
