About this Event
You will be guided by one of our silversmiths as you design, cut, sculpt, and refine your own wax piece from scratch. It’s a relaxed, hands-on session perfect for anyone looking to explore jewellery making for the first time or reconnect with their creative side.
Duration: 2.5 hours
What to Expect: In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will learn how to cut, shape, and finish a wax piece with guidance at every step. After the class, we can optionally also cast your wax model into sterling silver, polish and ship your finished piece directly to your home once complete.
Pricing: Please note that casting your final wax piece is optional, and will include additional casting costs based on the gram weight of the final piece.
While we would love to offer casting options in non-precious materials, our casting partners currently only offer casting in sterling silver, and 14k and 18k gold. Typical sterling silver casting costs ranges from $55 to $125, depending on the weight of your design. We’re happy to recommend lighter, more delicate options if preferred, however, choosing to cast your piece is always optional, and we’ll be sure to let you know the estimated silver cost before finalizing. Shipping of your finished jewellery piece is included in your course fee.
