Join Rachel Cargle, Death Doula Sula Johnson (@peaching_out) and community for a monthly storytelling event.
Whether it be honoring your loved ones legacy, exercising a memory, or having others bear witness to your grief - storytelling is a powerful tool for remembrance and grieving. This is an opportunity to say something that hasn’t been said, remember out loud, or bring your person’s presence to the (virtual) room.
We want to hear about them!
This is a place for you to bring what you’re keeping inside. Feel the power of saying your loved one’s name. Tell a story to an anonymous group, allowing your memories to take on new life, or tell a story that relates to your grief journey. We’re here to listen.
This is not a discussion or grief therapy but an opportunity to share on your lost loved one in whatever way feels right.
A prompt will be provided to guide you, but any storytelling that feels right is welcome.
With the holidays just around the corner, this event will share particular resources for navigating holiday times after loss.
