The Wave of Light is an international event held every October 15th for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. We are hosting a remembrance time for families who lost their baby or experienced any type of pregnancy loss. Families will have time for personal reflection and remembrance for their babies before lighting a candle. Join us on the patio of Hope City Church at 6:30 pm for a time of reflection. The candle-lighting ceremony will start promptly at 7:00 pm. Families will take home their candle and a keepsake.
Who is the event designed for?
This event is open to any family who experienced the loss of their baby or pregnancy.
Baby loss is a loss at any age - during delivery, as an infant, baby, or as a child.
Pregnancy loss is any type of pregnancy - ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage at any stage, stillbirth, infertility, etc.
We also invite any family members or friends who supported their friends through loss.
What is the Wave of Light?
The Wave of Light is an international event. Every year on Oct. 15th from 7:00-8:00 pm in every timezone, a candle is lit for an hour to remember our babies. This causes a wave of light to move across the world.
