🌍 Wave of Light Service 2025 🌍 The Wave of Light is a global event that concludes Baby Loss Awareness Week, which runs this year from Thursday 9th to Wednesday 15th October.
On this day, families across the world light a candle at 7pm in their local time zone and leave it burning, creating a continuous ripple of light across the globe in honour and remembrance of our children gone too soon. ✨
To mark this special event, The Vishaal Foundation Trustees warmly invite you and your loved ones to our Annual Wave of Light Service on Wednesday 15th October at 6.30pm. We welcome anyone who has been touched by the loss of a baby or child, whether during pregnancy, at birth, in childhood, or adulthood, to come together and float a lantern of remembrance. The event is free and open to all ages.
Candles and lanterns will be provided for you to write your personal message on before gently placing your lantern of love and remembrance into the lake, beautifully lit in soft shades of pink and blue. This moving moment will be accompanied by the soulful voices of the Sing4You Choir. After the floating of lanterns, we warmly invite you to stay for tea or coffee with us at Herschel Park, Slough. ❤
